Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is a new technology that enables ubiquitous access to shared data of configurable system resources and higher-level services that can be rapidly provisioned with minimal management effort, often over the Internet. It relies on sharing of resources to achieve coherence and economy of scale, similar to a utility. It is built around a series of hardware and software that can be remotely accessed through any web browser. Usually files and software are shared and worked on by multiple users and all data is remotely centralized instead of being stored on users’ hard drives.
